At the end: a hymn for the time of an epidemic by Rabbi Moshe R. Mandalesh of Krakau who was the rabbi of Prague.

After the death of Rabbi Ephraim Lonchitz, author of t ‘Klei Yakor’, he was succeeded by Rabbi Moshe R. Mandalesh as the Rabbi of Prague. During his stay in Prague, there was a smallpox epidemic in the city that particularly affected children, he composed a Slicha that opens with the words "Governor of the Most High, you know" which has been accepted in several communities since then, And it appears at the end of the book in front of us which was printed in Prague.

On page 174-181 were printed Slichos composed by the Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Ashkenazi author of ‘Maseh Hashem’.

In the same year, 2 more editions appeared, but without Yiddish Teitch and a smaller number of pages. We have before us a third edition of the same year, "with a commentary in the Ashkenazi language and with a change to my elevations in the proofreading".


Good condition, thick good quality paper, age stains, light worming to inner margins of some pages, original binding.
