First book by the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger Printed in his lifetime.

This is the first Sefer printed by the author.

It was edited by his sons Rabbi Shlomo and Reb Avraham.

Rabbi Akiva Eiger himself carefully reviewed the book and arranged the table of contents.

In the book’s introduction, the sons printed letters written by Rabbi Akiva Eiger with detailed directions of the printing: Special care and regard went into the Sefer on "beautiful paper, using black ink and with suitable letters, because in my opinion, the mind is impressed and relaxes; when  concentration is aroused while studying from a beautiful and elegant book."
