Sefer Divrei Radach Two Parts, Chidushim of Rabbi Reuven David Burstein, Av Beit Din of Kamenitz. Part One Halacha Matters and Part Two on Matters of Aggada. First Edition, Warsaw 1927.

Title page with handwritten dedication by the author the Gaon Rav Reuven Dovid Burstyn, Av Beis Din of Kaminetz (Kamianets). A disciple of Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Rabinowitz of Ponivez and close disciple of Rabbi Chaim Halevi Soloveitchik.

One of the most important rabbis in Lithuania. He was the city’s Rav during the time period of Rav Baruch Ber in Kaminetz. Rav Baruch Ber honored and respected him greatly, and did not agree to be the "Mesader Kiddushin" at his students’ weddings when Rav Burstyn was present (out of respect of Rav Burstyn).

When a question of practical Halacha would arise in the middle of Rav Baruch Ber’s Shiur, he would say: "Regarding a question of practical Halacha, go ask the Rav of the city" (Rav Burstyn). (Harav Domeh L’malach, page 322) His Sefer "Divrei Radach" contains much ingenious "Lumdus", as well as fiery Mussar sermons.

At the beginning of the Sefer a fascinating article about the history of the author’s family and especially that of his genius brother, "Rabbi Avraham Aharon Ha’Cohen Burstein who taught in the Slabodka yeshiva. He died in Jerusalem in 1927".

This article is unknown today and it contains important details about this important genius, on whose gravestone Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha’Cohen Kook ordered to write the following: "Cedar of Lebanon Great in Torah the Elite of the Geniuses of Our Time".

Vol. 1 [10] 184 pages. Vol. 2 [2] 132 pages.
