The author, Rebbe Yisroel Hopstein, known as the Maggid of Kozhnitz (Kozienice; 1737-1815, Encyclopedia L’Chassidut, II, pp. 542-548), was a leading Rebbe who disseminated Chassidism throughout Poland.

Rabbi David of Tolna and many other famous chassidic leaders – some which the author received from them himself.

Lacking title & first two pages, [54 out of 57] pages. Otherwise in good condition, small holes to inner margins of first 5 pages.
