The Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin (1880-1966) known also as the Rav of Luck, was Av Beit Din of Luck, Ukraine. He studied at the yeshivas of Slabodka, Volozhin and Telz. Served as the head of Mo’etzet Gedolei HaTorah, the chairman of Independent education and one of the leaders of the yeshivas committee.
