Short Chassidic Maamarim (oral discourses) by the Alter Rebbe, dating to the period the Alter Rebbe resided in Liozna (Belarus), before his imprisonment in Petersburg.
These discourses were taken down by the Alter Rebbe’s Son, Rabbi Dov Ber, the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch. The name of the Alter Rebbe does not appear on the title page of the present edition, therefore, some attribute the book to the Mitteler Rebbe himself.
