Third edition, this edition was highly corrected by Maran Beit Yosef from the manuscript dozens of responses were added and hundreds of partial-responses and other textual corrections.
As was written in the introduction, the publishers say “now, after it was days and years since the full questions and answers were printed, there were still many mistakes to be corrected, but thanks to the Rav Mohar Yosef Karo and Gaon Rav Shlomo Luria they are written in the great book of Beit Yosef.
Detail of year on title page is 1607, however colophon notes: “…completed… year 1608…”.
