Sefer HaShorashim, roots of the Holy Tongue, by R. David Kimchi (the Radak) with explanations by R. Eliyahu Bachur.

Many antique marginalia , some of them on pieces of paper attached to the pages.

Venice: Justinian (Giustiniani), 1546-1548. Title page with a pretty wood-block engraving, and the beginning of each section has a framed bit made from a pretty engraving.

The title page is dated Marcheshvan 1546, but the printing was only completed in Adar 1548, as stated in R. Eliyahu Bachur’s poem at the end of the Sefer.

Good-fair condition, tape repairs to all inner margins, repaired marginal worming, paper repair, nice full leather binding.
