Rabbi Elyakim Getz signs here three times using the first 3 page numbers Aleph for Elyakim, Beth for Badansky & Gimmel for Getz.

His signature is very rare, with only 2 letters & one Sefer with his signature known to exist today.

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Elyakim Getz Bodansky (1781-1845), disciple of Rabbi Levy Pollak of Tzehlem. Rabbi of Kobersdorf (1804) and Kormend (from 1806). He corresponded with the great Torah authorities of his generation, including the Chasam Sofer who addresses him in most complementary terms. Author of manuscript works, Misgav Leā€™itos and Noda Lemisgav, which have been lost.

Overall Good condition. stains, missing title page leaf, last two leaves are missing large part of the corners affecting text, damaged original binding.

Flyleaf with stamps of he holy Gaon Rabbi Aharon Pressburger Hy”d, the Rav of Bonyhad in the years before the Holocaust, one of the leading disciples of the Shevet Sofer. Was famed for his Sefer Pe’er aharon.
