Heated Polemic between the two communities in Szighet, Romania who fought one another: the Orthodox community, and the “Status Quo” community.

In 1888 in Lviv a book “Ohev Mishpat” was published by the Sefardi community of Sighet (the Status Quo group). In response the book before us was published, with letters from rabbis and admorim supporting the Orthodox community.
