Rabbi Ya’akov Saul Elyashar (1817-1906), one of the greatest rabbis of Jerusalem. The Rishon Le’Zion since 1893. Rabbi Elyashar wrote thousands of responses to questions from Ashkenazim and Sephardim throughout the world and corresponded with Rabbi Yosef Chaim, the "Ben Ish Chai". He wrote many books, among the "Yissa Beracha" Responsa, "Olat Ish", "Yissa Ish", "Ish Emunim" and more.
