Sermons and explanations on the Torah and the legends of our sages, by Rabbi Avraham ben Levi Kunki of Hebron. Shada”r of Hebron, known throughout dozens of communities in Europe for about ten years, and known to all the great sages of Israel who gave approbations on this Sefer.

At a young age, he became acquainted with Shabtai Tzvi and described in writing his actions, conduct, and these writings were published by Rabbi Yaakov Emden in his Sefer "Torat HaKana’ut" (The Torah of Zealotry). In the present sefer (pages 103-106), letters to Rabbi Moshe Zacuto (the Ramaz) and Rabbi Yehuda Brial were printed, in which they asked him about Shabtai Tzvi, and it seems that the author was cautious not to provide clear answers, and he writes to them that such matters should not be brought to the public or published widely. The answers are written in wonderful verses, and from them, his great strength in providing advice is evident.
