Signature on the title page of the Holy Gaon & Tzadik Rabbi Avraham Yosef Greenwald (1878-1928) the son of the Gaon author of Arugat Habosem. Since 1906 served as Av Beis Din of Makó and since 1910 succeeded his father as Av Beis Din of Chust. In 1921 was appointed Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Ungvar where he led a large Yeshiva. Author of Sefer Avnei Shoham – Shut and innovations (Ungvar, 1939). He died at a young age in 1928.

Signatures & glosses of the Gaon Rabbi Naftali Yaacov HaCohen – (1885 -1972).  He was a student of the owner of the ‘Arugas Habosem’. At the age of 18, he was ordained a rabbi and a dean by his masters. After his marriage, he was appointed a dean and a teacher in the town of Kirlibaba in Bukovina. In 1941 he was exiled to Transnistria, where he stayed in the ghetto for three years. After the Second World War he moved to the city of Érmihályfalva in Hungary, and the remnants of the community elected him as the rabbi of the community. Érmihályfalva. He established a court to permit agunot that survived the extermination camps, for this purpose he was in contact with the owner of "Minchat Yitzchak" And also with the great rabbis. In 1948 he immigrated to the Land of Israel and settled in the city of Haifa.

Overall Good condition. stains, minor worming in lower right margin of first and last five pages not affecting text, title page and page 1 has a tear in corner and top margin not affecting text, original binding is damaged/ missing corners and spine repairs. 36.5 Cm.
