The 13th-century Rishon Rabbeinu Bachia ben Asher of Saragossa was a Talmid of R. Shlomo ben Aderes (RaSHB”A). His commentary to the Torah is based on the following four methods: Pshat, Midrash, Philosophical exegesis and Kabbalah. First published in Naples in 1492, it became enormously popular and has been since reprinted many times. It is also widely quoted by the later commentators on Chumash.
